Using "past" and "till" when telling time (analog clock)

These video lessons are geared to 2nd grade math but are also useful for 3rd grade. In the first video, you will learn to tell the time using "past". We simply say how many minutes past the whole hour it is, such as "10 past 4".

In the 2nd part, you will learn how to tell time using "till" — how many minutes it is "to" or "till" the next hour — such as "20 till 7".

Additionally, you can play our matching game for telling time with "past" and "to/till".
