Multiply and divide rational numbers (negative fractions & decimals) — 7th grade math

See a bunch of solved examples of multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals (aka rational numbers), some of which are negative. We use the same techniques and strategies for multiplying and dividing as when the numbers are positive, and simply determine the sign of the answer based on the signs of the numbers involved in the calculation.

The second video includes examples of several operations with fractions and decimals (rational numbers), some of which may be negative. We do 1.2(0.6) − 1.52 which is a decimal multiplication followed by a subtraction. Then I multiply two fractions and one mixed number. And lastly, we have a subtraction involving two fractions and one mixed number.
