Unit rates, including when fractions are involved (7th grade math)

A unit rate is a rate where the second term of the rate is 1 of something. For example, 22 miles per (one) gallon or $14.95 per (one) kilogram are unit rates. To calculate the unit rate from a non-unit rate, we simply divide.

In this video, we especially look at rates involving fractions, and calculate the unit rate from those. Lastly, I solve a word problem involving constant speed using a unit rate (speed expressed as kilometers per day).
