Problems to Solve: A two-step equation for a geometry problem

The base of an isosceles triangle is 13 units, and its perimeter is 52. We mark the unknown side with s — how long is it? The resulting equation requires two steps to solve. If we use logical reasoning, the steps are the same as in the solution process of the equation.:)
