The coordinate grid: word problems & applications (6th grade math)

In this lesson we look at moving a point in the coordinate grid a certain amount of units up and to the right. Then, we plot a rectangle from given coordinates and find its side lengths. Lastly we solve how long John's bike ride is when he travels from place to place, based on given coordinates and one unit in the grid being 400 m.
