Part of the Math Mammoth "green" series, Math Mammoth Decimals Worksheets Collection has been compiled by taking all decimals-related worksheets from Math Mammoth Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6 and Grade 7 worksheets collections, here in one handy package for those
who would need them. Most of the sheets here come from the 5th and 6th grade
collections, and only a very few from grade 3.
The grade-level worksheets packages were originally created for and in collaboration
with SpiderSmart, Inc. tutoring company.
NOTE:This collection contains duplicate content with Math Mammoth Grade 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 collections.
These sheets span about four grade levels; however here they are organized by
topic(see contents). In each topic, first come the easiest sheets and then the more difficult ones.
For example, in the word problems section the first sheet fits 4th grade and the last
one 7th grade.
The teacher can thus choose a sheet of right difficulty level, or even assign some
students easier sheets and some students more challenging ones, on the same
topic.
These worksheets do not contain any explanations of the topics, but are just
collections of varying problems, best suiting teachers and tutors who can explain the
mathematics, and just need problems to assign to students. If you need a book with explanations, check our self-teaching worktext on decimals.
The decimal worksheets in this book cover concept of decimal, place value, comparing,
rounding, adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals, converting
fractions to decimals and vice versa, and word problems.
The sheets do not just contain calculation problems, but a great variety of problems
that test understanding of concepts, including word problems. Please check the samples; hopefully the problems will fit your needs.
