Parents - information about Math Mammoth products
Hello! My name is Maria Miller and I am the author of MathMammoth.com as well as of the books sold here. I am a parent myself (homeschooling my children), and I want to help you find the book or books that best fit your situation. I have several different kinds of books available on the site. For parents I specifically recommend either: Both of these series present basically the same lessons (they are nearly identical in the lesson content).
The two other Math Mammoth series (the Golden and Green series) are worksheets only, and are meant to be used by people who can explain the math to students (such as teachers, tutors, or math knowledgeable parents). Then I also offer Make It Real Learning workbooks (written by Frank Wilson) on this site. These are filled with activities with real-life data - you can learn how math is used in real life! These books do not teach the concepts, but provide supplemental activities. They can be great in motivating your children to love math. Please also check out the free sample from Make It Real Learning series. Follow the links below to read more about:
I have also prepared an article listing recommended pre-algebra books. |
